Keynote speakers, celebrated environmentalists, architects, city planners and scientists came, shared ideas, delivered powerful addresses and had more than 300 people buzzing with ideas at the November conference where the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability was officially opened.

CIRS Opens - A Powerful Welcome
On November 3rd, UBC opened the Centre for Interactive Research on
Sustainability (CIRS), the most sustainable building in North America.
